IRIS is the artificial vision and continuous cutting system for fabrics with checks, stripes, logos, and printed images.

IRIS is the vision, projection, and cutting system capable of detecting fabrics with repeated patterns, checks, stripes, logos, or printed images and performing a perfect automatic cut. Thanks to powerful algorithms and linear cameras, this system can also detect fabric defects, such as points or lines, and perform automatic on-machine nesting capable of obtaining a perfect match between the fabric patterns, in order to create continuity between the parts of the pattern, but also to avoid the detected fabric defects, guaranteeing excellent quality of the finished product.

A special configuration, with an XXL loading area, allows for the detection and positioning of endless patterns in sequence. It is possible to use up to 3 tools simultaneously during cutting, but there are 23 different cutting tools available to meet every production requirement.

The compact and discreet artificial vision system ensures complete and accurate detection of both fabric patterns and defects directly on the loading area.

The system is also capable of bowing the patterns to handle any type of fabric and avoid defects, thanks to the automatic on-board nesting.

IRIS system is able to detect even infinitely small allovers, letters, logos, numbers, as well as tone-on-tone images and create a perfect match between the parts of the pattern and the fabric motifs.

The system is also capable of bowing the patterns to handle any type of fabric and avoid defects, thanks to the automatic on-board nesting.

VISION SYSTEM FOR PRINTED PATTERNS

IRIS system is able to detect the outline of patterns printed on fabric and perform a perfect automatic cut.

Once cut, the patterns are ready for sewing without the need for manual intervention.

PROJECTION SYSTEMS FOR PANELS AND PROTOTYPES

The IRIS projection system is dedicated to the cutting of panels and prototypes. A special projector replicates the patterns onto the single-ply cutter so that the operator can manually position the parts of the pattern and, if necessary, move the fabric.

This will ensure a perfect match during prototype creation or panel cutting.
