ITMA: the meeting point for leading decision-makers in the textile machinery industry

ITMA is the leading trade fair dedicated to textile and clothing technology.

The event, first staged in 1951, is held every four years, bringing together the world’s best companies in the sector in one place and allowing several worlds to converge, not only that of textiles and clothing but also that of innovation.

In particular, the 2023 edition will be dedicated to digital transformation and circularity, with big focus on themes such as research into advanced materials, the development of innovative and eco-sustainable technologies, automation and the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI), but not only.

The focus will therefore be on the situation of the Italian and global textile industry, poised between modernization and technological advances in the evolution towards a sustainable production system and the digitalization of the supply chain.

Also for this reason, the edition of ITMA 2023 will be particularly green, with various measures designed to reduce the carbon footprint of the exhibition.

Parallel to the event, Forums will also be held, dedicated to textile dyes and chemicals products, and also to nonwoven fabrics.

FKgroup, a choice that looks to the future

The new edition of ITMA looks to a future-oriented towards technology and respect for the environment.

This is a point of view shared by FKgroup, which has always made technology and sustainability the core of its corporate philosophy.

In particular, the event is developed around four pillars:

1.Advanced Materials
2.Automation and Digital Future
3.Innovative Technologies
4.Sustainability and Circularity

The four pillars of ITMA 2023 are perfectly in line with the corporate philosophy of FKgroup, which has always aimed to offer the best cutting room solutions in terms of technology and automation, as well as reduced energy consumption, waste reduction and process integration.

Excellent hardware and software, as well as robust mechanics, guarantee exceptional cutting quality, processes that are as automated as possible, and machinery designed to last.

This adds up to a paradigm that considers sustainability as the driving force behind innovation.

For this reason, today FKgroup is also able to offer state-of-the-art solutions capable of saving up to 300% electricity and generating up to 40 tonnes less CO2 than the competition.

FKgroup is ACIMIT’s “Supplier of Sustainable Technologies”.

FKgroup, however, does not stop there.

In fact, in the company culture technology and sustainability are always combined with extreme care for the working environment, as worker-friendly as possible, in line with the best international standards,

FKgroup cutting systems are designed to provide optimal working conditions, thanks to remarkably silent mechanisms and efficient, low heat generation filter systems.

For decades, FKgroup has been the first choice of the best companies in the industry, also in terms of safety.
